St. Anne's Audio Catechism CDs
Answer Catholic Eucharist Questions
Concisely.

They begin with a "mini" catechism of Creation. Each of our students is frequently charmed and honored in that special moment when he finds out that God directly created his soul the way He wants it and loves his soul the way He made it! He frequently begins a list of his own questions that get right to the point of religious instruction with a Catholic catechism.

He is put off by vague phrases that are not in his general range of knowledge. We all are, usually.

This good beginning increases his personal interest in the whole idea of studying about the Catholic Eucharist which is usually the first thing a child studies for. It is certainly the most visible Catholic sacrament for child or adult. It is the sacrament we usually receive most often and we simply make the effort to go to Mass and Communion more often than we do the other sacraments. Many of us are free to go to daily Mass as a devotion beyond the Third Commandment and the Precepts of the Church as taught in the Baltimore Catechism. We simply love Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament!

Scriptural References For The Baltimore Catechism

Baltimore Catechism Ebooks and Audio Books

St. Anne's Audio Catechism CDs and Copybooks for First Communion help the student memorize the seven Catholic sacraments, the prayers of the Rosary, and Catholic Ten Commandments easily.

Copybooks use the same text for beautiful handwriting exercises that can be reproduced at will. No need to buy workbooks every year.

Copybooks can be printed either as an entire collection or as individual worksheets for work on a particular prayer or answer.

Confirmation Audio Catechism CDs help the student memorize the prayers of the Rosary; the Confiteor; the Acts of Faith, Hope and Charity; Catholic Holy Days of Obligation; and the basic Catholic beliefs from the Baltimore Catechism as they pertain to the sacrament of Confirmation.

The Confirmation Copybooks have the same benefits as above yet they are available with the choice of Manuscript or Cursive handwriting. We find that children love these and often try their best to improve their handwriting as they study for the sacraments.

Learning Becomes Easy!

Once we have the basic Catholic beliefs we can live accordingly.

It is amazing to realize that many Roman Catholic saints were taught with few books to study! The preface to the Catechism of the Council of Trent (available at TAN Books) gives the history of many different catechisms in its excellent forward. TAN Books and Neumann Press offer many good books by which to read the lives of the saints and thereby gain a sense of the Faith. Most of the Catholics in history did not have a catechism to use. The lives of the saints filled out the sermons they heard, and the Bible when they were able to read it. Even though the general populace didn't have access to many printed works, the Catholic Church has kept careful records of her saints.

It is helpful, also, to celebrate the Catholic holidays throughout the year. This helps us study the lives of the saints; gain a sense of the Faith; and give us extra encouragement to receive the sacraments and to practice the many other devotions that the liturgical year offers.

The Catholic Holy Days of Obligation are well marked on Catholic liturgical calendars along with many other Catholic holidays. The practice is similar to remembering the birthdays of friends and relatives, yet these days are usually the heavenly birthdays of saints and patron saints.
