This tutorial can be read at leisure or watched on a video. Either way, it taught us to do all that we have done on our website, and we were only barely familiar with emailing when we started. There's no need to hire a webmaster.

Our Catholic Business

We started building our Catholic business in 2007 after years of working to perfect our favorite products. We worked hard to develop unique Catholic audio books and Catholic ebooks, to publish them in a professional format, and to present them to many major Catholic book publishing companies and Catholic book sellers. Priests, catechists, parents, students and converts have written to thank us for our apostolate; but guess what? We had no venue to reach the larger market for Catholic audio book CDs or Catholic Ebooks!

Then my sister said, "You need a website."

She and her husband had already set up their succesful website and knew what we needed to sell our product and build the base for a larger Catholic business. We offer the same good advice to you.

So, after two years working the usual venues for a Catholic business we used her good advice and began to build this website using SiteSell.com, and its Internet business building program entitled, SiteBuildIt in December of 2008. At the beginning I had not known much more than how to use email! I did not trust "drag and click"! Now several of us in our family who not only know how to build our own successful websites - we're doing it!

Selling Catholic Audio books

Our Catholic Audio Catechism story began thirteen years ago when our first child was to receive her First Communion. We were told that the date would be in August. Then our pastor was relocated. The next pastor said that First Holy Communion would take place in September or October. So we continued to review the Baltimore Catechism questions and answers.

Then November, December.... Yes, you might have guessed it, the date was finally Mother's Day ! Yet we didn't guess it, and at about November we told our daughter that once she could pronounce and remember her catechism answers well enough, we would put the questions and answers on a cassette that she could keep and review at will even while she played with her sister and brother, colored or worked on crafts. Voila! The first Audio Catechism.

After much development from those early days, we decided that audio CDs were the answer and this grew into a Catholic business apostolate. Professionally produced Catholic Audio CDs with the fully reproducible text of the words right on the same enhanced CD! Each track matches the question number for ease of reference, way better than rewinding a cassette!

This website is the main vehicle by which we sell our products and we also have orders from Catholic bookstores as well. Our website presence has added to our credibility. You can do the same with your product or ideas. SBI! has made it possible for us to use this tool like pros.

Remember that your selling e-books requires e-traffic! E-junkie.com and Clickbank can supply some traffic, but nothing works better than your own dedicated website to generate traffic to your business or information site. Creating and Selling Catholic Ebooks

As we were teaching our children their catechism, both for school and for homeschool, we realized that a good portion of the effort needed to really study a topic could be reduced if we had a copybook format of our catechism Audio books (see Our Story). SBI gave us the idea and the steps to finish this project. Added bonus? We have new products for our Catholic business that we would not have known that we could offer. A catechism E-Copybook was the answer and is a product that sells itself - literally - since it is downloadable. The email sends us money! Same with the downloadable E-Audio books that we learned to sell through SBI's great instructions and ideas!

As our CDs and Download sales increased our copybooks became successful, too, because visitors wanted the matching material. We chose to use E-junkie.com since it had the first week free and is the best recommended downloads carrier we could find for the price and the benefits. We had no idea we would meet with the success that we have. We simply followed the step by step "fill in the blank" tutorial at SBI! called the Action Guide. E-junke also has an affiliate program (click the link above, then click "Become a Reseller" way at the bottom of the page), which means that we now have other sites that also sell our ebooks. By directing others to E-junkie we also receive a commission if those visitors sign up as one of E-junkie's affiliates. We would not have known how to do this without SBI.
