Enhanced CD Computer Settings

If your computer is not configured to play enhanced CDs you may have to change the settings. Once you do, you can print the text and listen to the audio from the same CD.
The disc you have for your audio catechism has both the voice reading the catechism question by question and the reproducible text of the questions and answers.
Each question and answer is on its own track and matches the text of the script. This text can be printed at will and is fully reproducible.
Windows Vista - This is the path to click to set your computer to play the enhanced audio CD.
- Start Menu.
- Control Panel.
- Hardware and Sound.
- Play CDs or other media automatically.
- Enhanced Audio CD.
- Play Audio CD using the program of your choice.
(We used Windows Media Player.)
Windows XP - This is the path to click to set your computer to play the enhanced audio CD.
- Right click on Start Button.
- Select "Explore" (not "Explore all users").
- On the left hand side of the screen right click on the icon
of whichever
drive it is in.
- Select "Properties".
- Click on "Auto Play" (tab at top).
- From the drop down menu select a "mixed content" to view the
text of the catechism.
- To hear the audio catechism go the program of your choice to
play the audio of the catechism.

If you have further dificulty with your system simply type in the help bar: "CD will not play in Vista" or something similar.
